Thermography is nothing else but measuring warmth. The old doctors felt with the back of their hands on the body surface of their patients places of the skin that were especially hot or cold. They were thereby able to conclude on inflammatory or degenerative diseases in the underlying organs.

Today we are in a position to make use of this old experience by means of modern technology. Within seconds and with great precision electronic sensors find out the “temperatures” of the human skin – unerringly and unadulterated.

The recorder registers the data found out. Thereby with experienced glances each deviation of the physiological standard value can be traced and can be interpreted as inflammatory or degenerative change in the neural segment.

This simple and harmless diagnostic procedure experiences a considerable extension and enrichment if you do not only measure the places relevant and interesting for the doctor once but twice, i.e. before and after the cooling.

The body is forced to regulate its warmth this way; every place of the body has to chance its temperature because of this stimulus. From these reactions important diagnostic hints can be found both concerning the reaction ability of the organism at its total and also in view of every single measured place of the body.

Do we find a normal regulation, a reduced regulation or an exceeding regulation with this or that organ?

Every part of the skin is linked by a neural reflex arch which crosses the spinal cord to the inner organ belonging to its segment; therefore we can deduce from the regulative conduct of the skin to the functional state of the corresponding organ.

Regulative thermography as a result shows a mosaic of single data; the evaluation of which can give an experienced doctor valuable insight into the overall condition of the organism and its ability to function.

Often a yet unknown hint of a disease or a latent cause of an illness can be found with problem patients. Connections between a focus (e.g. sick teeth, sinus, tonsils, appendix) and a chronic disease can be realized. Most important and astonishing is that theses changes in warmth are the first sign of a functional disturbance; they can often be recognized years before a disease will be noted by the patient or can be proved by clinical methods.
On the basis of their thermography even young and healthy feeling persons can be told, where there are weaknesses in their organism.

Regulative thermography is a real „health precaution“, which helps to track down diseases at an early stage. It is also a valuable help to control a current therapy, as the thermogram can follow the progress of recovery.

• Immunodiagnostic/Immunomonitoring

Requirement of a successful cancer defence in human organism is an intact immunologic system.

It is supposed that by various influences coming from the inside and outside often so called oncogenes are released which can lead to the growth of cancer cells. These cancer cells have to be discovered. Although the mechanisms to track down and destroy malignant cells and the interaction between immunologic system and cancer are in many fields still not clear, we are today convinced that the cellular immunologic answer represents an important factor of the immunologic cancer defence.

Our immunologic system consists of two parts, firstly the humoral and secondly the cellular branch. Both systems form a close interaction and can partly be registered diagnostically today.

Preliminary to each immunologic therapy therefore a detailed immunodiagnostic/immunomonitoring should be carried out. A detailed blood analysis can show up hints where deficiencies in the cellular immunologic system are supposed to lie. These deficiencies will then be treated directly with an immunologic stimulating medication with the intention of improving the situation of the patient.

Other chronic diseases are based on deficiencies in the immunologic system e.g. allergic dispositions, neurodermatitis, rheumatic diseases etc; that is why in many cases a therapeutic approach is possible even here.

• Cancer precaution for men

People unfortunately make use of cancer precaution only very slightly, although they know that cancer diseases sometimes can be diagnosed at an early stage.

In my surgery I have extended cancer precaution to the effect that apart from the routine physical check up, rectal investigation, hemocult-test and urinalysis even an ultrasound investigation of the abdomen will be offered in order to be able to judge the big abdominal organs. If there are special questions a VEGA-check up or a thermal regulative diagnostic investigation according to Professor Rost will be carried out. Even an additional immunodiagnostic can give precious hints about risk factors.

• VEGA-check up

With the VEGA-check up a stimulus reaction of body areas will be examined against the electric skin resistance. The VEGA-check up is simple to carry out and only takes about 8 minutes.

The Vega-check up gives detailed information on possible disturbances that can by far not be grasped with the classic check up methods e.g. x-ray, ultrasound, catskan or with laboratory examinations.
